Patrolman William P. Bosworth, Jr.

   

The Andover Township Police Department dedicated its new headquarters in memory of William P. Bosworth Jr., who died in the line of duty.   The dedication marked the seventh anniversary of the death of Patrolman Bosworth who was killed on August 5, 1997 when his police cruiser slid off a wet road and struck a tree after he turned around to chase a speeder.   More than 100 people attended the ceremony as a plaque honoring Patrolman Bosworth was placed on the front of the new police station on Lake Iliff Road.  

 

The date of the dedication was August 5, 2004
